Interim Head of Talent Pathway, Mark Thorburn said ‘’Following a 5-week training assessment pre-Christmas, a junior EPP group has been identified alongside a predominate EPP squad who will train with our specialist coaching team to prepare for a productive season ahead. Our junior EPP starts from U14s age bracket which feeds into our main EPP squad.
I would like to thank Paul Muchall, Owen Dawkins, Tom Smith, Jon Tegg & Michael Bates who played a key part in the final decision of these squads and inputted their dedicated knowledge which is greatly appreciated.
We are excited to be working with several talented players from the region and we look forward to continuing their development. Members of this group we see as potentially becoming future Academy Players and preparing them for that transition. We will continue to monitor our current crop of CAG players to make further additions to this programme as we see fit.’’
The programme begins this week, based at the Seat Unique Stadium they will be using our specialised facilities which includes a specific Strength & Conditioning programme conducted by Talent Pathway S&C coach Tom Brazier.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Talent Pathway sponsors for their continued support for the 2023 season and we are excited to have them displayed on our playing shirts for all County Age Group sides.
