Gloucestershire County Cricket Club is committed to ensuring that all children (all persons under the age of 18) participating in cricket have a safe and positive experience.
John Peplow – Club Safeguarding Officer
John has a wide range of experience in safeguarding roles, having worked for 35 years in Secondary Education as a Senior Leader and P.E. Teacher. He was also a Club Development Officer at the Gloucestershire Cricket Board for five years and has been Safeguarding Officer for Old Down CC for seventeen years. John is the current Deputy Safeguarding Officer for the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation and Chairperson for the Bristol and District Cricket Association.
Working closely with the staff, John is determined to ensure that Gloucestershire County Cricket Club provides a safe, welcoming environment for all children and adults to enjoy. John is dedicated to supporting the young people and families who are involved in our Academy, Emerging Player Programme and County Age Group programmes.
