23-year-old seamer Dom Goodman has signed a one-year contract extension at Gloucestershire through to 2025.
6”6 Goodman made his debut for the Club at Taunton in April 2021, taking three wickets as Gloucestershire cruised to an eight-wicket win against Somerset.

His debut scalps of Josh Davey, James Hildreth and George Bartlett were the first of fourteen first-class wickets, including eight wickets in the 2023 season.
A career-best of 4-73 came against Division Two champions Durham, with Goodman impressing at the Seat Unique Riverside.
Speaking about his one-year extension, Goodman said: “I feel really privileged to have the opportunity to extend my time with Gloucestershire until 2025, and thankful to the club for their continued belief in me.
"Having been here since I was 15, Gloucestershire holds a special place in my heart. The chance to create some special memories with a group here that I’m very close with is incredibly exciting and something I’ll be giving everything towards.
"I’m looking forward to working with Mark and our coaching team in the summer of 2024 towards promotion, trophies and creating some lasting memories for and with everyone at Gloucestershire."
In Gloucestershire’s tourist match against New Zealand in August 2023, Goodman was named captain, leading a young side to a respectable 22-run defeat at the hands of the 2022 Men’s T20 World Cup semi-finalists.
With just three players aged over 23 in Gloucestershire’s starting XI, Goodman took two wickets and excelled in his captaincy role with New Zealand restricted to 168/6 from their 20 overs.
Mark Alleyne, Head Coach at Gloucestershire Cricket, said: “I’m so pleased Dom has extended his contract for another year. He’s going to be an integral part of the seam bowling unit here at Gloucestershire.
“Dom has a clean bill of health going into the start of the season meaning he can attack the first set of fixtures, which is a real bonus for us.
“I’m looking forward to working with him during the pre-season tour to South Africa, where we hope to find some rhythm going into the early part of the season.”
