Gloucestershire is pleased to confirm that William Porterfield has joined the club coaching staff as consultant coach.
The former Ireland international, who recently retired from international cricket to focus on his coaching is no stranger to Glos fans as he played for the Shire between 2008 and 2010. During his times with Glos he registered his highest career score of 175 in a County Championship game against Worcestershire.
He has been with the squad for a number of weeks and the Club is pleased that this arrangement is set to continue for much of the remaining season.
