WG Grace Centenary Dinner in the Bristol Pavilion

GCCC Heritage Trust (Registered Charity Number 1157441) is holding a black tie dinner to mark the centenary of WG Grace’s death and to raise funds for setting up the new Gloucestershire Cricket Museum and Learning Centre.

Friday 23rd October 2015, the actual anniversary of Grace’s death
WHERE
In the Bristol Pavilion at the GCCC Ground, Nevil Road
WHAT
• Main Speaker: the humorous and entertaining JOHN PARROTT, snooker World Champion, ex “Question of Sport” captain and BBC presenter
• MC: Ralph Dellor, cricket commentator, author and journalist
• Auctioneer: Richard Madley, “Bargain Hunt” expert and the IPL player auctioneer
• Grace tribute by Richard Tomlinson, author of the new Grace biography
• Pre-dinner drinks receptions starting at 6.30pm with barbershop group and a special WG Grace display
• 4 course meal based on the private dinner held for WG Grace to mark the publication of his book “Cricket” in 1891.
• Grace family descendants will be at the dinner
TICKETS
• £100 to include: a glass of wine or non-alcoholic drink on arrival, half bottle of wine at dinner and your own Commemorative Menu
