"We are backing ourselves to bring the trophy back" - Jack Taylor on the RL Cup Final
17 September 2015
Jack Taylor believes Gloucestershire’s team spirit could prove to be a decisive factor in helping them overcome Surrey in the Royal London One-Day Cup Final.
He said: “We all get on and buy in to what each other do. If we turn up on the day and play the cricket we know we can play – and have played in this competition – then we are backing ourselves to bring the trophy back to Gloucestershire.”
Ahead of the club’s first Lord’s final in 11 years the allrounder lifts the lid on what it will be like in the dressing room on Saturday morning.
With the biggest game of many of the squad’s careers looming, Jack gives an insight into which players will be chilled out, who will be having a laugh to relieve the nerves and who will be doing something “pretty random”.
