Gloucestershire welcome Surrey to the Seat Unique Stadium for our second home match of the 2023 T20 Vitality Blast campaign. After picking up one win from two matches on the road vs Middlesex and Essex, Dale Benkenstein’s side will be looking to win their first home match of the season in front of a packed Bristol crowd on Friday 2nd June.
The T20 Vitality Blast match vs Surrey on Friday will be dedicated to celebrating the continued success of the African Caribbean Engagement (ACE) Programme.
The ACE takeover will see members of the hugely successful programme be at the forefront of matchday activation during the televised Sky Sports fixture, including full representation in the guard of honour.

All spectators should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of play to avoid encountering long queues at the gates and risk missing the beginning of the match.

Ticket buyers
If you’ve purchased a ticket it will have been emailed to your chosen email address ahead of matchday. You can either print your ticket out at home and bring it along with you, or have it scanned via your mobile phone at one of the entrances to the stadium. Access for this fixture is advised at the Ashley Down Road End entrance (BS7 9BU) or the Nevil Road entrance (BS7 9EJ).
Members
Eligible Gloucestershire Cricket Members will be able to gain entry using just their Membership card. This includes all 2023 members.
Retail, Merchandise & Scorecards
Scorecards will be available at the Club Shop for £1.50 together with a full range of New Balance Glos Cricket merchandise. We have a full range of New Balance training wear available, as well as 2023 T20 replica match day shirts, caps and leisure wear. The Club Shop is located next near to the Grace Gates entrance.
Activation zone
Test your skills or get a tune up from one of our coaches in our activation zone, back again for 2023 and located at the top corner of the stadium, to the left of the Grace flats, this year we will have the bowling cage, reaction wall as well as your chance to create your own posters using seed paper to cheer on the team. The activation zone will be available pre-match all the way up to the start of the second innings.
We’re a cashless venue!
Please be aware that ALL bars and concessions at the Seat Unique Stadium are now cashless, so bring along a debit or credit card for all food and drink purchases.
Catering in the ground
- Pieminster's range of pies and sides will be available from both the Legends Bar and Thatchers Bar & Kitchen throughout matchday.
- Thatchers Bar & Kitchen will also be serving jacket potatoes, sandwiches, pies, snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks
- Also available within the Seat Unique Stadium will be:

- Fish and Chips

Bars
- Thatchers Bar & Kitchen
- The new Tribute Bar, located behind the Mound Stand.
- Kennington Road Bar, located along the open side of stadium.
- Legends Bar, located behind the Mark Alleyne Stand.
- Jessop bar, located next to the main entrance to the Bristol Pavilion.
Changing places
New for 2023 is a Changing Places facility which has been installed behind the Mound Stand. The facility is accessed via ramp and requires a radar key to enter. Should you need assistance, please contact one of our friendly stewards on the day of the match.
Multi-faith room
Also new for 2023 is our Multi-Faith room which will be available for spectators to use throughout the game. The facility is located in the main car park.
Parking
Limited parking is available for Blue Badge Holders on a first-come, first-served basis. This will be located in the fenced compound in the college car park behind the Flats. There will be no public parking available in the Stadium.
Bus services
The Seat Unique Stadium is easily accessible by bus: Services 17, 70, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76 all run within a five-minute walk of the two entrances. All buses operate at regular intervals throughout the day.
Train services
The nearest train station to the Stadium is Montpelier, approximately one mile from the Club. The station has direct routes through to Bristol Temple Meads and a regular schedule to Bristol Parkway.
Cycling
If you are cycling to the Stadium, you can park your bike at the bike racks located at the Nevil Road End and Ashley Down Road end of the ground.
Seat allocation
All match tickets are unallocated, so you can choose where you wish to sit when you get to the Stadium. Unfortunately you are unable to reserve seats. May we take this opportunity to remind you that personal belongings must not be left unattended under any circumstances.
Spectator Behaviour
As much as many of us enjoy a drink and a laugh at a T20 evening, please drink responsibly and consider your language and behaviour. The T20 Blast is for all the family, so be aware of those sitting near you and make the evening an enjoyable one for everyone.
If you find yourself sat near someone drinking or behaving irresponsibly, please let us know and the stewards will resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Either speak to a steward or report the behaviour anonymously via text message to the following number: 07860 027799
Low and no alcohol stand
This season we have introduced a low Alcohol and No alcohol stand. These are located within Jack Russell Stand and are open to all members as well as supporters who have purchased specific tickets.
Keep your eyes on the ball
Please remember to WATCH THE BALL at all times.
Bag searches & ground regulations
A reminder to arrive in good time prior to the start of play to give yourself time to get through the turnstiles.
Bag searches are in place so please take this into consideration when arriving at the ground.
You will not be admitted to the ground with any alcohol. Food and soft drinks are allowed.
You will not be admitted to the ground with glass or sharp objects, such as corkscrews or pen knives.
Any confiscated items will not be returned.
Please ensure you bring waterproof clothing along with an umbrella should there be wet weather.
When in the Stadium, bags must not be left unattended for any reason.
If you are cycling to the Stadium, you can park your bike at the bike racks located at the Nevil Road End and Ashley Down Road end of the ground. Please note, parking your bike is at your own risk.
The Premier Lounge will be open for Premier Club Members only.
No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the stadium along with any glass containers or objects – a full list of ground regulation can be found here – please take the time to review this.
