Visit Cayman Islands Virtual Running Challenge
9 November 2022
Cayman Islands are once again hosting a virtual running challenge giving Glos fans the chance to win a pair of return flights to Grand Cayman in 2023.
Supporters can join the Gloucestershire players who will be participating in the event by running the Virtual Half Marathon when they return to the Seat Unique Stadium to begin pre-season training ahead of the 2023 season.
This year’s competition follows the Cayman Islands Half Marathon challenge last December when Chris Dent travelled to the Caribbean to race on behalf of the Club’s 2021 charity partner, Young Lives vs Cancer.
With a variety of entry distances, the competition is open to runners of all levels of fitness. You earn entry into the draw by running either 5km, 10km, a half marathon, or a full marathon.
Log your activity manually or via your favourite fitness app. All finishers will receive entry to the competition, a medal, and lots more!
Gloucestershire Cricket is also delighted to announce Cayman Islands Department of Tourism will continue to be the Club’s County Championship front-of-shirt sponsor, training wear partner and retains naming rights for the Visit Cayman Islands Cheltenham Cricket Festival.
You must submit your running session before December 4th 2022. More information can be found at www.runcayman.com
