Gloucestershire Cricket is delighted to unveil Towergate as the headline sponsor of the prestigious Cheltenham Cricket Festival.
The brand new three-year deal will see Gloucestershire’s iconic summer festival be renamed the Towergate Cheltenham Cricket Festival with immediate effect.
The festival will adopt a new look in 2024, with some exciting news about next summer’s fixture schedule due to be announced very soon.
Specialising in business insurance, Towergate has been a long-term supporter of the Club having previously acted as Gloucestershire’s Shirt sleeve Sponsor across all formats since 2019.
In addition to becoming Official Partner and Naming Rights Partner for the Cheltenham Cricket Festival, Towergate will continue to work closely with Gloucestershire to secure the most competitive insurance programme amidst the current climate and ever-increasing costs of running a First-Class cricket club.
Joe Kaniecki, Head of Commercial at Gloucestershire Cricket, said: “Towergate have been an ever-present part of the Gloucestershire family for five years now and I’m delighted to have them onboard for a further three years.
“The Cheltenham Cricket Festival is renowned across the UK as one of the biggest and best cricket festivals in the country and I’d like to thank Towergate not only for their support of the festival, but also for their continued unwavering support of the Club.”
Towergate has offices placed all around the country to be able to offer a local broker service. They offer expert advice and have access to a vast array of insurer products, which puts them best placed to deal with all your business insurance needs.
Sam Jackson, Regional Sales Director at Towergate, commented: “Towergate is very proud to be working with Gloucestershire again and are extremely excited to be the Official Partner and Naming Rights Partner of one of the best cricket festivals in the country. The Cheltenham Cricket Festival is second to none and we jumped at the opportunity to be a part of it.
“Our partnership has gone from strength to strength in recent years and we are so excited to be involved with the club for a further three years.”
