TOP OF THE TABLE CLASH - GLAM v GLOS

10 July 2016

The top two sides in the NatWest T20 Blast South Group meet as Gloucestershire take on Glamorgan in Cardiff this Sunday.

Following defeat to Kent on Friday, Gloucestershire will look to get back to winnings ways and potentially secure a place in the Quarter-Finals of the NatWest T20 Blast.

Glamorgan currently sit top of the table and are ahead of their rivals on run-rate, and have also played two games fewer.

They have beaten Middlesex and Sussex in the previous three days, while Gloucestershire were narrowly beaten by Kent on Friday at The Brightside Ground, Bristol.

The 2015 clash between these two sides in Cardiff saw a rain reduced 5 over match which saw Gloucestershire walk away as victors. But this season, Glamorgan secured victory at Bristol with a six wicket win in June.

Victory for the Welsh side would virtually ensure them a quarter-final place.

Glamorgan are likely to remain unchanged with Chris Cooke suffering a back problem, while his replacement Mark Wallace top-scored with 69 not out in the nine-wicket win at Richmond.

Andrew Salter is another probable absentee from the squad after dislocating a finger, with Owen Morgan set to provide the spin-bowling cover option.

Glamorgan (from, probable): Lloyd, Wallace, Ingram, Rudolph (c), Donald, Wagg, Meschede, van der Gugten, Cosker, Hogan, Tait, Morgan, Smith.
