TOP 10 TIPS FOR PLANNING YOUR VISIT TO THE GROUND: ENGLAND v INDIA

23 August 2014

To help you get the most out of your day at the Bristol County Ground, we have put together 10 top tips for your visit:

1. Travel - There is no public car parking available at the ground on the day, the best way to get here is on a park and ride bus - click here for information. Plan your journey in advance and leave plenty of time to get to the ground.

2. Bring cash with you to the ground, the food and drink units take cash only. There is a cash point in the club reception.

3. Don't forget the obvious - TICKETS! Check the map (click here) and see where you are seated so you are familiar with the ground before you arrive.

4. There is plenty of bars selling your favourite drink, including Thatcher’s Cider, Tribute Ale and soft drinks. Please don’t bring alcohol to the ground or on the park and ride as it will be confiscated.

5. Feeling peckish? Get stuck into some food at the Bristol County Ground, we have a selection of food available, including plenty of Vegetarian and Halal options.

6. Bring a raincoat & sun-cream, there is no cover over the stands so prepare yourself for all kinds of the British summer weather!

7. Our stewards will be happy to help on the day. If you have any problem, big or small, please speak to a steward to resolve the issue quickly.

8. Take a walk around the ground, make sure you visit the Royal London Cricket Factory and test your cricketing skills.

9. Head to Gloucester Road before and after the match - some of our local traders have a one-off discount for all ticket buyers to enjoy! Click here to see what you can get and where

10. Ultimately, have a great day!
