Tommy Boorman selected in England Young Lions Invitational squad

Gloucestershire academy player Tommy Boorman has been called up to an England Young Lions Invitational XI for two matches against Australia and Ireland.
The 18-year-old top-order batter has been named in a 18-strong squad for a two-day match against Australia and the 50-over match against Ireland later this month.
Boorman, who has been in the Gloucestershire Academy since 2020, was recently selected for the Gloucestershire first XI for a NCCA showcase match vs Wiltshire but sadly didn't get chance to bat as bad weather curtailed play after just 14 overs.
The Young Lions Invitational squad has been selected alongside a 16-player England Men Under-19s squad for the upcoming Youth One-Day Internationals against Ireland and Australia.
