Ticket Ballot Details Released for Gloucestershire Members & Supporters
26 February 2021
On Monday 1 March at 10:00am, the Gloucestershire Cricket Domestic Ticket Ballot will open, allowing Members and supporters the chance to register for specific match day tickets for the 2021 season.
With the recent government announcement, we are gearing up to welcome spectators at both the Bristol County Ground and the Cheltenham Cricket Festival this summer.
There will be two separate ballots – one for Members, one for non-members.
Both ballots will run from 1 March to 31 March, ensuring that there is plenty of time to register for tickets for the match(es) you want to see.
With the best interest of our fans in mind, it is important that we understand which games Members and supporters definitely want to attend.
We have created FAQs should you have any further queries regarding our ballot and tickets for when we do go on general sale – please click here for our FAQs page.
In the event that, due to health and safety reasons, we can only admit a limited number of ticket holders, the Club will allocate seats to ballot entrants in the following priority order:
- Members – those with a valid 2021 Membership, who wish to attend
- 2020 Ticket Rollovers – those who purchased and rolled over 2020 tickets, who wish to attend
- General Sale – we will select ticket purchasers based on the time of their purchase and prioritise the early entrants.
If you are successful in the ballot, you will have a limited time to either reserve your seat(s) (Members) or purchase your ticket(s). The ticket system will allocate you a seat(s) which you must occupy. This will allow us to adhere to any social distancing protocols and enable us to admit as many supporters as possible.
Gloucestershire Cricket Chief Executive Will Brown said: “Following the Government’s announcement on Monday, we are really encouraged at the prospect of a return of crowds to Gloucestershire Cricket matches this summer. We have had such incredible support from our Members over the course of the last year and we very much hope to welcome Members and supporters back to Bristol and Cheltenham as soon as we are allowed.
“In a season like no other, we are relying on our Members and supporters to indicate their intended match preferences for the season ahead so we can best prepare for all likely scenarios that we may face in the coming months.”
