Team injury update

4 July 2014

Michael Klinger is doubtful to be fit for selection for the upcoming LVCC match against Hampshire starting at the Ageas Bowl on Monday. He is progressing in his recovery from the broken toe he sustained at the same venue in the T20 Blast group match 2 weeks ago. We are hopeful for him being available for Cheltenham.

Gareth Roderick has begun batting again following his broken finger. He will play for the 2nd XI in this weeks coming fixture against Yorkshire, but will not keep wicket. We are hopeful that he progresses in his recovery and form to be in contention for selection at Cheltenham.

Bowling wise Matt Taylor will begin a minimum of a 2 week rest period due to having a recurrence of shin splints. James Fuller is still suffering soreness in his ankle and will not be fit for a return at Cheltenham. Whilst Craig Miles is beginning a return to competitive cricket this week – playing in the 2nd XI under restricted bowling loads.
