13 June 2017
Gloucestershire Cricket begin their NatWest T20 Blast campaign on Friday 7 July and in preparation for this year’s competition they will also be playing a warm up match at Clifton College.
On Friday 23 June, a Gloucestershire XI will play a WEPL (West of England Premier League) select XI at Clifton College – starting at 4pm.
A team will be selected by Head Coach Richard Dawson, made up of category 1 players, who have performed well at the start of this year’s season. Richard and his coaches will be keeping an eye on stats from across the divisions and a team will be selected during the week commencing Monday 12th June.
The game will be played at the iconic Clifton College and will provide an opportunity for some of the local talent to pit their wits against the professionals, whilst also providing a shop window to be seen in – entry will be free for all supporters.
