T20 Cricket set to blast back to Bristol this Friday!

Gloucestershire Cricket welcomes the Middlesex Panthers for the second NatWest T20 Blast match of the 2014 season here at the Bristol County Ground.
Gloucestershire skipper, Michael Klinger, will be looking for the squad’s first win in this competition as he leads his team out in front of an expectant Bristol County Ground crowd on Friday evening.
Michael pledges to have his team ready to entertain and compete strongly.
Cricket Facts:
- Gloucestershire have won all four of their previous T20 encounters against Middlesex, despite losing the toss in each match!
- The highest English T20 innings total was recorded by Gloucestershire against Middlesex! Gloucestershire scored 254-3 at Uxbridge in June 2011.
Match Day Information:
Gates open at 3.30 pm. Play scheduled to get underway at 5.30 pm. Teams will be announced after the toss takes place.

Off the Field: Gloucestershire - in conjunction with Sporting Memories Network (SMN) - will be the first County Cricket Club to host a “Cricket Memories Match.” There will be a gazebo set up in the ground where fans can go along and ‘donate’ their memoires by either filling in a postcard with a cricket memory or by loading it up on-line.

The above is part of our work with Sporting Memories Network (SMN) who support people with dementia by hosting weekly sport reminiscence groups at the Bristol Pavilion to help reduce social isolation. This match is the first of three taking place this season: the others are at Cheltenham on 18 July and in Bristol on 25 August when Gloucestershire host England v India in a One Day International.
