Seconds Take On Scotland Development XI

Gloucestershire Second XI take on the Scotland Development team in a three-day fixture at the County Ground, starting on Wednesday,
Former Scotland Under-19 captain Paddy Sadler will lead the visiting side, which features four other former U-19 players and two current members of the squad who successfully qualified for the 2014 U-19 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
All-rounder Gavin Main and batsman Andrew Umeed have enjoyed successful stints with Durham and Warwickshire respectively since returning from the U-19 World Cup Qualifying tournament with both playing second XI county cricket in recent weeks.
Largo’s 17-year-old off-spinner Ryan Brown has his first opportunity at this level after very successful season for Scotland U-17s.
Also making their debut in a Scotland Development squad for the first time is Grange’s Chris Sole after the bowler helped his club complete a successful season after winning both the Scottish Cup and Murgitroyd T20 Finals.
