Gloucestershire Second XI take on Essex Second XI at Garon Park in a Second XI Three Day Championship Match.

The Second XI Trophy game between the same teams yesterday was abandoned as a draw, both sides taking one-point.
A 15-over game was started and Essex made 114-3 from their allocation. Gloucestershire were 30 without loss off three overs in reply when the rain unfortunately returned.
Day 1 of 3 Championship Match: Gloucestershire all out for 102. Essex finished on 110-2.
