Sayers heads back to Australia
20 July 2019
Chadd Sayers, who has been part of the Gloucestershire squad over the last couple of months, will be flying back to Australia tomorrow after his short-term contract with the Club.
Chadd joined the Shire in June and had featured in four Specsavers County Championship matches. In the four matches Chadd had played, he took 11 wickets for Gloucestershire with a match best of 5/94 against Middlesex at Merchant Taylor's in early July.
Sayers' final match with the squad came against Leicestershire at Cheltenham College which ended in dramatic fashion with Gloucestershire winning with only three balls left in the contest. Chadd scored an impressive 33* in Gloucestershire's first innings of the match against Leicestershire.
Everyone at Gloucestershire Cricket would like to thank Chadd for all of the hard work, we hope to see you in Bristol and Cheltenham soon.
Cheers Chadd! #GoGlos
