Sax Claims Four Wickets At Shenley

Ian Saxelby took another step towards a return to first team action by claiming 4-14 as Gloucestershire second XI bowled out MCC Young Cricketers for 145 at Shenley.
The seamer whose hugely promising career has been dogged by injury was playing his first game since pulling up with a quad muscle problem in the pre-season match against Glamorgan at Cardiff.
Liam Norwell took 3-42 and after an initial collapse, Gloucestershire replied with 161-7 by the close.
Seventeen-year-old Brandon Gilmour made 61, while Jordan Garrett, just 15, was 38 not out at stumps. The match continues tomorrow.
