Gloucestershire Cricket is delighted to have made it through to the Royal London One-Day Cup quarter-finals, and will be playing Kent Spitfires at The Spitfire, St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury on Friday 29 August. Gates open at 12.30 pm and the match gets underway at 2.00 pm (match ends at 9.45 pm).
We are encouraging members and supporters to attend the match and support the team if possible.

Supporters Coach
Gloucestershire Cricket may (if there is enough interest) arrange for a supporters’ coach (return trip) on Friday 29 August. The cost of this will be £25.00 per person (this price does not include the cost of your ground entry ticket). Parking at the Spitfire, St Lawrence Ground
There are two formal car parking options for visitors to The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence Canterbury for Friday 29 August:
1. Park & Ride, Old Dover Rd, Canterbury, (CT1 3EJ)
Situated approximately a 10 – 15 minute walk from the ground or short bus ride. £3.00 per day for a car and up to 6 passengers.
Monday – Saturday, 7.00 am – 7.30 pm
The bus heading into town stops in front of the turnstiles on Old Dover Road.
For the return journey, before 6.00 pm, you can catch the bus where you were dropped off and take the round trip into town and back out to the Park & Ride car park.
After 6.00 pm the Park and Ride bus will be diverted on the return from the City and will stop opposite the ground to pick up cricket spectators and take them back to the Park and Ride site.
Night Matches
Kent CCC has arranged a special return bus that will operate from 9.45 pm until 10. 45pm (or earlier if the game finishes early)
2. Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School, Old Dover Rd, Canterbury, CT1 3EW
Situated in the next ‘block’ on Old Dover Rd, driving away from the town centre, the school supplies a limited number of car parks on days during the school term. For Weekend and Evening games this number increases dramatically. Entry to The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence is via a pathway onto Nackington Road and directly into the Club’s entrance. Approximately 3 – 5 minute walk. There is a dedicated ‘golf cart’ operating to help disabled and mobility challenged visitors, whom also have designated parking spaces. Spaces are sold for £10.00 fee per day, on a first come, first served basis (no pre-booking allowed) subject to weather and availability. Sat Nav CT1 3EW
