Rooms with a unique view to Bristol

16 November 2012

Work has now started on the new Pavilion, Media Centre and Members’ facilities at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.  This exciting project also includes a unique development of 147 apartments which are being created as part of the long-awaited redevelopment of the County Ground in Bristol.  This will see the ground become a major centre in the community and for cricket both nationally and internationally.

Award winning house builder, Linden Homes, will be creating a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments many with views over the pitch.

Clive Wiltshire, Managing Director at Linden Homes commented:  “This is such an important project for the City of Bristol and we’re delighted to be part of it.  The apartments will offer a truly unique living environment with views that will be the envy of cricket lovers around the world and also for those simply seeking a stylish home in the city.”

Rex Body, Chairman, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club added: “The development by Linden Homes is an essential part of the Club’s future plans, which will be of benefit not only to the Club, but to the City of Bristol and Gloucestershire.  This will enable us to invest in our cricket development, enhance our spectator facilities and retain international cricket at the County Ground.  We are delighted to be working with Linden Homes.”

The first homes will be available to view from late summer 2013 but those interested in the development can register now at lindenhomes.co.uk.
