Roderick Back To Face Northants
16 July 2013
Gareth Roderick returns to Gloucestershire's team for today's make-or-break Friends Life t20 game against Northamptonshire at Cheltenham (2.30pm start).
The wicketkeeper-batsman was rested for the opening 20-over fixture of the Festival against Warwickshire on Sunday, but comes back into the squad in place of Richard Coughtrie.
Teenaged off-spinner Miles Hammond is also named in today's squad as Gloucestershire seek the victory that will keep their hoped of qualifying for the quarter-finals alive.
Skipper Michael Klinger admitted after the defeat by Warwickshire that his team will probably need to win all five of their remaining Midlands/Wales/West Division games.
It won't be easy this afternoon as Northants have won three of their four group games so far and lie second behind leaders Glamorgan.
Gloucestershire (from) M.Klinger (capt), H.Marshall, C.Dent, A Gidman, D.Christian, I.Cockbain, B.Howell, G.Roderick (wkt), J.Fuller, M Taylor, T.Smith, D.Payne, M.Hammond.
Gates open at 12.15pm. Tickets will be available on the gate for this match, adult £22 and £10 under 16.
