Re:Water named Gloucestershire’s Official Bottled Water Supplier for 2024
22 March 2024
Gloucestershire Cricket is delighted to announce Re:Water as Gloucestershire’s Bottled Water Supplier for the 2024 season.
The initial one-year-deal will see the Club exclusively sell Re:Water products at the Seat Unique Stadium and Towergate Cheltenham Cricket Festival. Using 100% recycled aluminium for the bottle, Re:Water is sustainably produced which closely aligns with Gloucestershire’s existing environmental and sustainability goals.
Based at their private spring in Herefordshire, Re:Water’s mineral water is bottled at the source and produces a fraction of the CO2 emissions of standard aluminium products. Once empty, Re:Water’s unique aluminium bottles can be refilled and reused before simply recycled in line with standard UK recycling guidelines.
Joe Kaniecki, Head of Commercial at Gloucestershire Cricket, said: “We’re thrilled to have Re:Water onboard for the 2024 season, adding to the Club’s existing sustainability initiatives that are already in place.
“We are passionate about offering environmentally-friendly food and drink options to all that visit our venue year-round, and I’ve no doubt Re:Water will prove to be a hit with our matchday crowds and non-matchday customers.”
Re:Water is also listed across the UK in recognisable outlets such as National Trust, M&S, Caffe Nero and David Lloyd Clubs and they will also be continuing their partnership with Lords Cricket and the MCC after great success last season.
Alex Nicholson, Business Development Specialist at Re:Water, said: “When we first heard about Gloucestershire Cricket’s plans to become the most sustainable cricket venue in the UK, we couldn’t wait to reach out and introduce Re:Water as an alternative to plastic bottled water.”
Our 100% recycled aluminium bottles are refillable and perfect for a day at the cricket. It is an honour to be associated with a cricket club that has an incredible history like Gloucestershire and we can’t wait to see people enjoying Re:Water around the ground this summer”.
