Prospects for Play for this evening's FLt20 match

2 July 2012

The Umpires have made an initial pitch inspection and have advised we will have a delayed start - timing to be confirmed.  Every effort is being made to ensure that our Friends Life t20 match against the Welsh Dragons gets underway as soon as possible.

We have an excellent drainage system here at the County Club, thanks to a major investment two years ago and, should the weather allow, our match will proceed even if this means a reduction in the scheduled 20 overs a side (5 overs per side being the absolute minimum to achieve a result).

In the event that no play is possible (minimum 10 overs), then ticket holders can exchange their tickets for another Gloucestershire match or request a refund. Please see our terms and conditions here for more information.

We appreciate how frustrating this is for our members and supporters and further updates on today’s weather situation will be posted on this website as the situation changes.

In the meantime, the last chance to see Gloucestershire Gladiators play at home in the first round of the 2012 Friends Life t20 will be on Thursday 5 July when the County plays host to the Worcestershire Royals.
