Pre-season training begins in BS7 Gym

Player of the year Liam Norwell was among the Gloucestershire first-team players that reported back for pre-season training on Monday.
The team will be spending majority of their time before Christmas in the company of Strength and Conditioning coach Bob Smith in the clubs, BS7 Gym.

The team also met up with Gloucestershire's newest recruit, 22-year old Ryan Higgins, who was taking part in his first training session since signing for the club on a three year deal in October.
Strength and Conditioning Coach Bob Smith said "It's great to be back and we are are all set for a solid pre-season"
"We will be assessing the players on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and from then on, the hard-work begins"
David Payne said "Day 1 of pre-season always feels like the first day at school, but it's good to be back"
"It's the first pre-season campaign where we have been shown the full training schedule up until Christmas. It's exciting to know what we have in store each and every day for the next few months."
