Pre-season preview | Gloucestershire v Leeds/Bradford UCCE

Gloucestershire will host Leeds/Bradford UCCE at the Seat Unique Stadium from Sunday March 30, to Tuesday April 1, in their final pre-season fixture ahead of the County Championship season.

This three-day red-ball match marks the last of five warm-up games as Mark Alleyne’s side continue their preparations for return to Division One.

Match details

  • Play begins at 11am each day, with a minimum of 96 overs scheduled.
  • Lunch will be taken at 1pm, followed by tea at 4pm.
  • Gates open at 10am for members and supporters.
  • Entry is free for all spectators.

Supporters unable to attend can keep up to date via the Club’s YouTube channel, where the annual live stream test will take place. In addition, the Club will provide periodic updates across its social media channels.

Visitor information

  • Thatchers Bar & Kitchen will be open from 10am until close of play.
  • The Premier Club will be open to Premier Club Members from 10am, offering tea, coffee, and biscuits.
  • A temporary scoreboard will be in place while work continues on the installation of new replay screens.
  • The Mound Stand will be closed to visitors due to ongoing main scoreboard infrastructure work.
  • Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis on the Kennington Road side of the ground.

Players involved in this weekend’s red-ball fixture against Somerset at Taunton are not expected to feature against Leeds/Bradford UCCE.

This fixture provides a final opportunity for Gloucestershire to fine-tune their squad ahead of the new campaign.
