Play called off
13 July 2012
It's the third day of the 2012 Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket Festival.
Following heavy rain during yesterday, the Umpires inspected the Pitch this morning on arrival, at 1.10 pm, 2.00 pm and latterly at 3.00 pm. Following the last inspection, and despite the fact that it has been sunny all day, the outfield was deemed too wet to play on. As a consequence, play has been called off for the day.
Gloucestershire are currently on 284-4 in the first innings of our LV= County Championship match v Essex.
Further updates to follow in the morning.
