Payne injury update
1 April 2016
Left arm seam bowler David Payne missed the chance of day's bowling against Durham MCCU after picking up a hand injury during the morning session on the second day at the Bristol County Ground.
Bowling only his third over of the morning, Payne suffering a laceration to his finger while trying to stop a straight drive from Charlie Macdonell. He left the field immediately.
Chief physiotherapist Steve Griffin confirmed that Payne had gone to hospital to have the injury assessed, but that he was hopeful the 25 year old would be able to take a full part in the final day of the match on Saturday.
