Park & Ride Information - Glos v Somerset

We look forward to welcoming Members & Supporters of both Gloucestershire and Somerset to the Brightside Ground, Bristol, on Friday 13th July for the local derby in the Vitality Blast.

Park & Ride Service -

With no parking available at The Brightside Ground, Bristol, the club is encouraging ticket buyers to use the park and ride facility or public transport when they visit the ground.

The park and ride service will go between the Portway car park and the Ashley Down Road end of the ground.

Fares are £5 return per adult and children under 16 travel free of charge.

Road closed:

Nevil road will be closed to motor vehicles from 1.30pm on Friday 13 July.

Bus Service -

The Brightside Ground on Nevil Road is easily accessible by bus. Services 17, 70, 71, 73 75/76, T2 run within a five minute walk of the main entrance using stops on the nearby Gloucester Road (Services 71, 73, 75/76, T2), Muller Road (Service 17) and Ashley Down Road (Service 70). All buses operate at very regular intervals, with services 70, 75 and 76 – even running 24 hours a day.

Train Service -

The nearest train station to the Brightside Ground is Montpelier, approximately 1 mile from the Club and close to other public transport.  The station has direct lines through to Bristol Temple Meads and a regular schedule to Bristol Parkway.
