Pakistan and Sri Lanka claim last spots for World Cup

Pakistan Women and Sri Lanka Women have clinched the final two places for this summer’s ICC Women’s World Cup in England.
Bangladesh, the only other team still in contention, lost to Sri Lanka by 42 runs in their rain-affected final game of the World Cup Qualifier in Colombo.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka join India and South Africa as the top four teams from the Super Six phase and join hosts England, plus Australia, New Zealand and West Indies at this summer’s competition.
The competition will be played in a round-robin format, with Bristol hosting eight games in total including a semi final on Tuesday 18 July.
