Essex also suffered defeat in Chelmsford after Ed Barnard hit 173* to help Warwickshire achieve their target of 325 with 14 balls to spare.
TEAM NEWS
Mark Thorburn names an unchanged squad for the weekend clash with the Eagles, with Tom Smith, Joe Phillips and Ed Middleton keeping their places alongside the eleven that started against Glamorgan.
Tom Price and Zafar Gohar remain sidelined.
Your 14-player Gloucestershire squad to face Essex:

OUR OPPONENTS
Essex struggled in last year’s competition with just one win in eight group stage matches, ultimately finishing bottom of Group A.
A promising batting display against 2023 semi-finalists Warwickshire in their first group match suggests the Eagles will go closer to a qualification spot this time.
