Play gets underway at Lansdown CC - Wednesday 7 August

The first day of Gloucestesrshire Cricket's Second XI Championship clash (v Hampshire) at Lansdown Cricket Club was cancelled due to the previous day's heavy rainfall.

Day 2 of 3 has got underway and the home squad consists of: Will Tavare, Ed Young, Ian Cockbain, Dan Housego, Cameron Herring, Jack Taylor, Kieran Smith, Paul Muchall, Tom Shrewsbury, Graeme McCarter, Liam Norwell and Scott Phillips.

Hampshire won the toss and elected to field. Gloucestershire currently 109-4 (Cockbain 57 out and Tavare 51 out).
