New GCB Job For Former County Star

Tim Hancock has been appointed the Gloucestershire Cricket Board’s new Head of Performance.
The former Gloucestershire batsman will oversee all boys’ and girls’ county and district cricket.
As a player, Tim made 185 First Class appearances for Gloucestershire scoring more than 8000 runs and taking 47 wickets.
He was part of the county’s most successful side, winning seven one-day trophies between 1999 and 2004.
Since retiring, Tim has held numerous coaching roles, including running Stroud and South Gloucestershire College’s cricket academy and working at Colston’s School.
He will continue to combine some of his existing duties with his new Gloucestershire Cricket Board role.
