Nevil Road Closure – England v Pakistan ODI

To all supporters, please note that Nevil Road will be closed to all vehicles from 9.00am until 1 hour after the close of play on Tuesday 14 May for the Royal London One-Day International between England and Pakistan.
We strongly advise that supporters attending the game should use the Park and Ride service that is being provided by First Bus. See below:
Park & Ride Service -
Bristol Parkway Train Station offers excellent rail connection as well as extensive parking and therefore it will serve as a Park & Ride site. The parking at the station, as well as adjacent Stoke Gifford car park, will be available for this match. Your journey to the ground from the park & ride will be free of charge, you will simply need to pay for parking.
The Park & Ride shuttles will stop at Ashley Down Rd which is approx. 300 m from the Ashley Down Gate entrance. The shuttle will commence service from Bristol Parkway 3 hrs prior to match start, and the return service from the cricket ground back to Bristol Parkway will resume 30 min before close of play.
Park & Ride shuttles are accessible and will be free of charge to holders of a match ticket and accreditation holders.
BY BUS
The existing public bus network in Bristol is excellent and the roads around the ground benefit from many regular services from both Bristol train stations as well as the city centre. Local buses to Bristol County the ground stop on Gloucester Rd (for access to the Grace Gate via Nevil Road):
- Buses no. 71 and 72: service UWE Campuses via Temple Meads and City Centre;
- Bus no.73: Temple Meads to via City Centre;
- Buses no 75 and 76: from Cribs Causeway to Hartcliffe & Hengrove via City Centre;
- Intercity buses: Severn Express and T2.

BY TRAIN
Bristol County Ground is located approximately 2.5 miles from Bristol Temple Meads Train Station and 4.5 miles from Bristol Parkway Station. Both stations are frequently serviced by an extensive rail network from London, Cardiff or further afield.
A free shuttle service will be available on match day between Bristol Parkway and the ground. Local bus services 71, 72 and 73 operate between the venue and Bristol Temple Meads.
The nearest train station to the ground is Montpellier station which is approx. 1 mile walk from the venue. The station serves the Severn Beach Line which operates twice hourly services on a single-track line from Bristol Temple Meads to Severn Beach.
