Nevil Road closed from 7:00am on Sunday 24 September

To all supporters, please note that Nevil Road will be closed to all vehicles from 7.00am until 1 hour after the close of play on Sunday 24 September for the Royal London One-Day International between England and West Indies.

We strongly advise that supporters attending the game should use the Park and Ride service that is being provided by First Bus. See below:

PARK & RIDE

There is no public car parking at The Brightside Ground, Bristol, the club strongly recommends that you use the Park and Ride facility that has been arranged with First Group and Bristol City Council.

The Park and Rides will be based at UWE's Exhibition and Conference Centre (BS34 8QZ), close to the M4/M32, and at the Bristol City Council park and ride facility on the A4 Portway, near Avonmouth (BS11 9QE). Buses will operate from 8.30am until 11.00am, and will operate for at least two hours after the match. Parking will be free and clearly signed from the main routes into the city.

Return fare to The Brightside Ground, Bristol – £5 per adult.
Children 15 and under travel free of charge with a fare paying adult.

BY BUS

The Brightside Ground on Nevil Road is easily accessible by bus. Services 17, 70, 71, 73 75/76, 78/79 run within a five minute walk of the main entrance using stops on the nearby Gloucester Road (Services 71, 73, 75/76, 78/79), Muller Road (Service 17) and Ashley Down Road (Service 70). All buses operate at very regular intervals, with services 70, 75 and 76 – even running 24 hours a day.

BY TRAIN AND BUS

For those travelling by train Bristol Temple Meads is in the centre of Bristol and Bristol Parkway is to the north. There are regular bus services from both stations to the ground. Catch the number 70 or 71 bus from Bristol Temple Meads or 73 from Bristol Parkway. There are also taxi ranks at both stations.
