Miles Out To Impress In UAE

29 November 2013

Miles Hammond will head to the United Arab Emirates with the England Under-19 squad this weekend for a Tri-series against Pakistan and UAE U-19s.

The trip is part of ongoing preparation ahead of the ICC Under-19 World Cup, which takes place in the UAE in February.

Gloucestershire’s 17-year-old off-spinner has been named in a 17-man squad, who will play in Abu Dhabi at the Oval Ground, in Sharjah at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium and in Dubai at three different grounds.

It is a great opportunity for Miles to impress ahead of the World Cup. He has already made five first team appearances for Gloucestershire, two first class, two List A and one T20.

During the summer he represented England Under-19s against Pakistan and Bangladesh.
