Miles On Way Back To Fitness
30 April 2014
Craig Miles is making good progress towards recovery from the back problem that has forced him out of Gloucestershire's opening games.
The 19-year-old pace bowler, who claimed 43 LV=County Championship wickets last season, came through a rigorous net session yesterday.
Director of cricket John Bracewell was encouraged and expects Miles to be available for the next Championship fixture against Surrey at The Oval, starting on Sunday week.
John told this website: "Craig returned from the Potential England Performance Programme in the winter with a niggle in his back and has not been quite right since.
"But he did some heavy bowling in the nets yesterday and we are hopeful that he is on course for the Surrey game."
