Miles and Norwell put accuracy to the test in unusual club T20 draw
22 March 2016
Gloucestershire Cricket stars Craig Miles and Liam Norwell put their accuracy to the test in an unusual draw for the county’s Under Club T20 competition.
The bowlers decided the draw for the group stages of the competition by attempting to throw tennis balls into buckets containing team names on the Bristol County Ground outfield.
The ground will be the venue for the finals day on August 21.

The 2016 line-up sees defending champions Bristol Buccaneers in the same group as beaten semi-finalists Thornbury Thunder.
In the north section runners-up North Cotswold Chargers have been pitted against Hatherley Hurricanes who also made it through to the finals day at the Bristol County Ground last year.
The group games will take place between May and July with 25 Gloucestershire clubs competing – five more than in 2015.
The competition, which is in its second year tries to recreate the razzamatazz of the NatWest T20 Blast with music, clubs wearing coloured kit and extra points awarded for the quality of “matchday experience” they provide.
Last year’s semi-finals were played at the Bristol County Ground but the final had to be moved to Dumbleton CC due to rain.
The final saw appearances from three of Gloucestershire’s Academy players – fast bowlers Ollie Currill and Sam Groves (North Cotswolds Chargers) and James Bracey who captained the Bristol Buccaneers to the title.
