McCarter Called Up To Face Essex

Graeme McCarter was called into Gloucestershire's team for a third LV=County Championship appearance of the season against Essex at Bristol today.

The 20-year-old Irishman replaced Liam Norwell, who was ruled out by a groin problem sustained in training yesterday.

Essex also suffered an injury blow as experienced seamer David Masters was an absentee and replaced by Reece Topley.
