Gloucestershire, meanwhile will be buoyed by their impressive fightback against Surrey in which they picked up a draw and maximum batting points at the Seat Unique Stadium.

Gloucestershire played Hampshire twice in last year's LV= County Championship. Hampshire came out on top when the side’s met at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival but Glos ground out a draw at The Ageas Bowl in April with just one wicket remaining.
Gloucestershire have made three enforced changes to the 13-man squad that faced Surrey for the away trip to Hampshire. Chris Dent, who scored a brilliant 207* v Surrey, will miss the match having sustained an ankle ligament injury in the Surrey fixture.
David Payne and Matt Taylor have also dropped out of the travelling squad having both picked up an injury. Payne, who made his first appearance of the season v Surrey, has sustained a minor ankle injury while Matt Taylor has suffered an injury to his foot.
Ben Charlesworth, Naseem Shah, Ollie Price, Tom Smith and Paul van Meekeren also remain unavailable for selection due to injury.
Ajeet Singh Dale and Jared Warner come back into the squad to face Hampshire as does Dom Goodman, who could be in-line for his first appearance of the season.
Hampshire will be without opening batter Joe Weatherley, who scored 168 in the win v Somerset in April, as he suffered a fractured hand in last week's draw against Lancashire. Aneurin Donald has come into the squad as a replacement for Weatherley while Scott Currie is named in the squad for the first time this season.
Hampshire squad to face Gloucestershire:
James Vince (C), Kyle Abbott, Mohammad Abbas, Felix Organ, Ben Brown, Aneurin Donald, Keith Barker, Brad Wheal, Nick Gubbins, James Fuller, Ian Holland, Liam Dawson, Scott Currie.
