Match-Day discounts on Gloucester Road

Traders along Gloucester Rd are showing their support for Gloucestershire Cricket as the NatWest T20 Blast campaign takes place this summer.

With more than 6000 fans expected to head to the Bristol County Ground the club have launched their community programme ‘Gloucester Road Traders’ to make sure the whole area benefits from the matches.

“It’s ‘Fancy Dress Friday’ so before the match traders like Fancy Dress Fanatics are offering a 10% discount if show your match day ticket.” Roz Hutchings, Head of Community Engagement told us.

“During the day there will also be traders wearing ‘I Heart Glos Cricket’ t-shirts and don’t be surprised if some have their faces painted. We’re running a competition to find the ‘Most Fun Trader’ on Gloucester Rd. To vote for your winner take a funny photo and then tweet it to @gloscricket with #ilovegloscricket.” explains Roz.

Once the game has finished, continue the party onto the Gloucester Road where various traders are giving discounts if you show your match day ticket including:

 The Cider Press: 10% off food & drink

The Anchor: 25% off total food bill and 10% discount on drinks

The Bristol Flyer: 20% off a main menu, main meal for 2 hours after match ends or until kitchen closes at 10pm.
