Little joy for Gloucestershire at New Road

Gloucestershire took just three wickets on a rain-hit second day at New Road, where Worcestershire reached 302-3 at stumps in reply to 234.

Moeen Ali made an unbeaten 122, with 18 fours and three sixes, as Worcestershire secured three batting points after rain had delayed play for an hour.

There were also half-centuries from Matthew Pardoe (89) and Daryl Mitchell (63) for Worcestershire, while the three wickets were shared by Liam Norwell, James Fuller and Craig Miles.

The final session was twice interrupted by rain and a total of 27 overs were lost from the day's play.
