25 November 2024
Over 500 items of sports kit and equipment found new homes during Gloucestershire Cricket's annual Kit Drop & Swap event held last Friday at the Seat Unique Stadium.
The fourth instalment of the event ran throughout the morning and saw over 50 attendees exchange and collect a wide variety of items, including Gloucestershire training kit, replica shirts, Western Storm gear, cricket bats and equipment, and even football shirts.
The event promoted sustainability and inclusivity within the sporting community, encouraging the reuse of high-quality kits.
Retail and Event Executive at Gloucestershire Cricket, Natalie Mansfield, said: "We're so pleased our Kit Drop & Swap event was a success again this year. We love supporting grassroots cricket in Bristol and Gloucestershire by providing Clubs and individuals with high-quality kit for free, and it was encouraging to see a strong turnout.
"This event continues to grow each year and plans to help our community again next November are already underway."
