Kit Drop and Swap 2022
19 October 2022
After a successful launch in 2021, Gloucestershire Cricket are excited to announce the return of Kit Drop & Swap in 2022! The club were astounded to receive so many donations last year that made such a difference to people’s lives.
To ensure cricket in the county becomes more inclusive, we will be helping those not in a position to purchase equipment for the 2023 season obtain new kit through the initiative. The current financial climate will be a barrier to cricket for many so it is the club's ambition to make the 2022 Kit Drop & Swap bigger and better than ever!
Kit Drop & Swap is a chance to donate any unwanted kit to support clubs and players throughout Bristol and Gloucestershire. The initiative is also an opportunity to swap old kit and get something "new" too!
Gloucestershire Cricket's talent pathway teams and local clubs in Bristol and Gloucestershire have been invited to participate in the event by encouraging all players to donate their old kit and equipment.
Kit Drop & Swap will also support Bat for a Chance, a charity that helps underprivileged children worldwide have fun playing cricket.
To donate kits, clothing and sports equipment (from any sport) to a new home, please drop them at the Seat Unique Stadium on any of the below dates.
