Junior Members' Day 2018
30 May 2018
On Tuesday 29 May, Gloucestershire Cricket welcomed their Junior Members' for a fun filled morning of cricket at the Brightside Ground, Bristol.
First team players Will Tavare and David Payne were involved in a quick fire Q&A with our Junior Members and parents for the first session in the morning. Both players were answering questions on teammates, cricket lifestyle, other counties and much more. It was a great chance for our members to meet Gloucestershire Cricket's first team players up close and personally.
Shortly after the Q&A with the players, our members' and parents headed across to the new Museum and Learning Centre which opened last year. It was a great chance to have a look at the history of the club.
To round the day off, our Junior Members had an hour of coaching with former Gloucestershire player Damian Forder. Our mascot and two time T20 Finals Day Mascot Race Champion Alfred the Gorilla even made a guest appearance.
It was a great day and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing all our younger members and supporters. We look forward to seeing you throughout the season. #GoGlos
