JUNE PREVIEW: An exciting month of cricket ahead

Gloucestershire Cricket supporters can look forward to an exciting and competitive month of cricket when June arrives. The team have a busy schedule and will be travelling up and down the country playing in all formats of the game, including a return to the Royal London One-Day Cup as defending champions.

The Gloucestershire team will play 7 NatWest T20 Blast matches, 4 Royal London One-Day Cup matches and 1 Specsavers County Championship match in a busy schedule of cricket.

The Brightside Ground, Bristol will also host international cricket in June as England take on Sri Lanka in a Royal London One-Day International. Limited tickets are still available so don't miss out and click here.

Highlights for June

The Royal London One-Day Cup campaign begins on Sunday 5 June with a trip down the road to face local rivals Somerset. This will be followed by a trip to Cardiff to face Glamorgan in our second match of the competition a day later on Monday 6 June.

We then welcome Middlesex to The Brightside Ground, Bristol for our first home Royal London One-Day Cup match. With the new floodlights in place in Bristol the RLODC matches will begin at the later time of 2pm. This fixture could see James Fuller facing his ex-Gloucestershire team-mates since leaving Bristol for London.

We then welcome Glamorgan to Bristol for our second home NatWest T20 Blast of the campaign on Friday 10 June. After a 1 run loss to Sussex in the first match, the Gloucestershire team will be determined for victory over our welsh neighbours under the floodlights in Bristol.

On Friday 17 June one of the biggest matches of the season arrives as we face Somerset in the NatWest T20 Blast in Bristol. Previous fixtures have sold-out in advance so don’t miss out on tickets to one of the biggest matches in the South West this summer.

International Cricket arrives in Bristol on Sunday 26 June as England take on Sri Lanka. A fantastic day out in front of a packed out crowd, the Brightside Ground will hold over 15,000 supporters for a super Sunday in Bristol!
