It’s time to have a Blast with WOB Competitions as Glos T20 shirt sponsor
12 March 2024
Gloucestershire Cricket is excited to announce WOB Competitions as the Club’s new T20 Front of Shirt Sponsor on a multi-year deal.
In a brand new partnership, WOB Competitions, the sister company of Watches of Bath, will be the primary shirt sponsor of Gloucestershire’s T20 Vitality Blast kit for the 2024 season onwards. With a fresh new look for the upcoming season, Gloucestershire’s 20-over kit will have WOB Competition’s logo at the front and centre of the kit’s new eye-catching design.
Featuring Shire’s distinctive yellow and black colours the 2024 T20 shirt, as well as the new County Championship shirt and One Day Cup shirt, will all be on-sale via Glos Cricket website from mid-March.
Commenting on the exciting new partnership with WOB Competitions, Head of Commercial at Gloucestershire Cricket, Joe Kaniecki, said: “This is the beginning of a really exciting partnership, one that will play a vital role in helping to support the most popular format of cricket, the T20 Vitality Blast.
“What’s particularly exciting about this year’s T20 Blast campaign is being able to take 20-over cricket on the road to the Towergate Cheltenham Cricket Festival, where we will play three matches at the stunning Cheltenham College Grounds. I can’t wait to welcome the team from WOB Competitions to Bristol and Cheltenham this summer, and hope our supporters and Members like our new T20 shirt as much as we do.”
WOB Competition’s sister brand, Watches of Bath, is a retailer of pre-owned luxury timepieces from brands such as Rolex, Tudor and Omega. WOB Competitions was established as an online business to provide people with the chance to win luxury timepieces.
James Mercer, Director of WOB Competitions and Watches of Bath, said: “WOB Competitions is launching in late spring and collaborating with Gloucestershire Cricket Club is something we are very proud of.”
With Gloucestershire’s fixtures for the 2024 season now announced, supporters can plan their summer in Bristol and Cheltenham ahead of the domestic cricket season curtain-raiser in April. Shire will kick off their T20 Vitality Blast campaign at home to Essex Eagles on Thursday 30th May. T20 Vitality Blast tickets are now on sale and can be purchased here.
