Injury update - 13th August 2024

MATT TAYLOR
Matt sustained a groin injury during the Metro Bank One Day Cup fixture against Sussex Sharks last week. Matt has begun rehabilitation with a target of a return to first team cricket in September.
ZAFAR GOHAR
Zafar is completing the final stages of the rehabilitation of a groin injury and will be working hard towards a Championship return at the end of this month.
TOMMY BOORMAN
Tommy has been resting and rehabilitating a back injury sustained in July. He is starting to make progress and will likely make a return to play in late August and early September.
LUKE CHARLESWORTH
Luke suffered a lumbar spine stress fracture in July, which has effectively ended his season. He has begun his rehabilitation and will be available to prepare fully for the 2025 season during the winter months.
CHRIS DENT
As Chris has made public himself in recent weeks, he is currently taking time out of the first team cricket environment to focus on his personal health and wellbeing. He has taken full advantage of both Gloucestershire CCC and external support networks, including the PCA, and is now following a graduated return to play programme.
