In addition to the six double-header group stage matches, Sky Sports will provide live television coverage of finals day, with BBC Radio providing ball by ball coverage of every round of matches, alongside finals day.

Western Storm will feature on Sky Sports on August 10th and August 12th.

Lisa Pagett, General Manager of Western Storm, said: "This level of coverage is unprecedented and is a major boost for all the teams involved. It will be the first time that many of our squad will have played in front of the television cameras and hopefully it will bring out the best in them. It's great to see that Sky are so committed to championing this competition."

Bryan Henderson, Head of Sky Sports Cricket, said: "Sky Sports is giving women's cricket a platform like never before. With record excellent attendance figures for the inaugural Kia Super League last year, we can't wait to show the domestic competition live in homes for the first time this summer. This is another example of Sky's fantastic support of the women's game. We hope our coverage this summer will help inspire the next generation of cricketers."

BBC Test Match Special Producer, Adam Mountford, added: “After providing extensive commentary on the first year of the Kia Super League, we are thrilled to be able to extend our coverage this summer with every round of matches broadcast on the BBC. You will be able to keep up to date with the twists and turns of the whole tournament via BBC Radio, online and the BBC Sport App, plus regular podcasts rounding up all the latest action. This continues our commitment to covering the women’s game which has recently included commentary on all of England’s home fixtures plus coverage overseas during the tour to the West Indies last October, and the ICC Women’s World T20 in India in March.”
